Ebony Scrooge is an original Christmas stage play written by Charlotte A. Perkins and inspired by the timeless classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This powerful retelling blends drama, humor, and faith as it follows the journey of a modern-day “Scrooge” who discovers the true meaning of Christmas. Through encounters with the past, present, and future, she learns that the season is not about material wealth, but about love, community, and the fellowship we share with one another in Christ.
The play unfolds in five dynamic scenes, brought to life with the powerful blend of live choir music and praise dance. These elements are woven seamlessly into the storytelling, creating an immersive holiday experience that honors tradition while highlighting the beauty of transformation.
